Suspected yahoo boy arrested for k!lling UNIPORT girlfriend & removing her body parts

The man simply identified as Collins, is a 400 level student at the University of Port Harcourt [UNIPORT], while his late girlfriend, Justina was a 300-level student of the same institution.

According to reports, Collins was caught by his estate’s security personnel when he was trying to dispose Justina’s corpse after k!lling and extracting her eyes and breasts.

Following the alarm raised by the security personnel, eyewitnesses stormed the suspect’s apartment and found Justina’s body parts in sacks dripping with blood.

Late Otuene had only celebrated her birthday on October 14.

A Facebook user who knew the deceased wrote;

‘’So I woke up this morning by 2am , couldn’t sleep only for me to go online to see this sad news of otuene justina nkang we all schooled in assi.(Anglican secondary school isiokpo) a boarding house I was in shocked with tears in my eyes because I was also a friend to her brother back then otuene mbere the same class,

Mrs Abosede Aloba, the mother of deceased singer Ilerioluwa Aloba (a.k.a Mohbad), on Wednesday told a coroner’s court that her relationship with the late singer was not cordial for a long time.

Abosede said that the soured relationship was because Mohbad’s father, Joseph, took him away and instructed him not to contact her.

She, however, told the Coroner, Magistrate Adedayo Shotobi, that she began to relate better with him in 2019.

She testified during a coroner’s inquest into the death of his son.

The musician died on Sept. 12 and was buried the following day.

His death has been generating controversies, prompting the Lagos State Government to direct a coroner’s inquest into the death.

The inquest, which began on Oct. 13, is taking place at the Ikorodu Magistrates’ Court in Lagos State.

Abosede that she and Joseph went to the residence of singer Azeez Fashola (a.k.a Naira Marley) to ask him why he had been having a dispute with Mohbad.

“I asked Mohbad to call Pasuma to report Naira Marley because of the consistent beating, and Pasuma said he would intervene.

“Mohbad kept on cautioning me not to talk.

“I only got to know about the injury four days after, and the only person he had issues with is Naira Marley.

The only complaint from the wife about him was infidelity,” she said.

Also testifying, Mr Sultan Ayobami, Mohbad’s disk jockey, said that he had known the deceased since 2018 and started working with him in 2022.

According to him, Mohbad was bullied twice.

He testified that the first time was in June at a club on Lagos Island, while the second took place at Elegushi, Lagos Island, during a film shooting “when Sam Larry drove in with his boys and started to beat Mohbad before he was rescued by Zlatan who took him to his car”.

He said that the matter was reported to the police.

204 new COVID-19 cases recorded in Nigeria!!!

According to the Nigeria Center for Disease Control NCDC, 204 new cases of Coronavirus have been recorded in Nigeria, taking the total tally of the case in the country to 1,932.

The data released by the NCDC revealed that 80 of the new cases were recorded in Kano, 45 in Lagos, 12 in Gombe, 9 in Bauchi, 9 in Sokoto, 7 in Borno, 7 in Edo, 6 in Rivers, 6 in Ogun, 4 in FCT, 4 in Akwa Ibom, 4 in Bayelsa, 3 in Kaduna, 2 in Oyo, 2 in Delta, 2 in Nasarawa, 1 in Ondo and 1 in Kebbi State.

TUC, NLC strike Suspend Strike

Trade Union Congress (TUC), United Labour Congress and The Nigerian Labour Congress, NLC strike suspended. The industrial action was scheduled to commence 12am on Tuesday.

The suspension was announced Monday night in Abuja after a closed door meeting of the Tripartite Committee on new minimum wage.

Policeman breaks woman’s jaw for withholding Info On girlfriend’s whereabouts

A 30-year-old woman, Oluchukwu Ezemaduka, is currently battling with a damaged jaw at a private hospital, West Care Specialist Hospital in Akowonjo, Lagos, after she was allegedly battered by a riot policeman, Idiahgbe Iyobosa.


Iyobosa, who is attached to a bank in the FESTAC Town, was said to have repeatedly hit the woman in the jaw with his service boots until blood gushed out.

Pastor arrested for fraud in Osun attempts suicide in cell

A 46 year-old pastor, Joseph Afolayan, who was arrested by the police in Osun State for alleged fraud, has attempted to hang himself in the police cell.


Afolayan, a pastor with Freed Zone Church in Ijebu Ode, Ogun State, was arrested alongside his female friend, Miss Bimbo Olanrewaju.
It was learnt that the pastor requested for financial help of N600,000 from  Olanrewaju, saying he needed the money to clear some goods he was expecting from Canada.

Man steals 20 cement bags day after promotion

A day after he was made a supervisor in a block moulding company, Abiola Hamzat, a graduate of a university in Oyo State, has been arrested for allegedly stealing 20 bags of cement.

The 35-year-old was apprehended by operatives of the Rapid Response Squad of the Lagos State Police Command on Thursday after the theft was discovered by the company.

He was alleged to have conspired with one Adebayo Kazeem, 32, to perpetrate the crime at the company’s office in the Agbado area of the state.
